IndiGo has launched a new service from Mumbai to Seychelles, marking the first Indian carrier to operate this route in two decades. The four-weekly A320neo flights began on March 22, providing the only nonstop connection between India and Seychelles. This move places IndiGo in direct competition with Air Seychelles, which operates a weekly flight on the same city pair.
FlyPelican has introduced a new route between Newcastle, New South Wales, and the Gold Coast using the 19-seat Jetstream 32 aircraft. The four-weekly service competes directly with Jetstar's daily A320 flights. FlyPelican aims to attract business travelers by arriving early at 07:30.
Royal Jordanian inaugurated its fifth North American route on March 23 with flights from Amman to Washington Dulles. The twice-weekly service replaces United Airlines' previous operation and joins Royal Jordanian's other transatlantic routes to Chicago O’Hare, Detroit, Montreal, and New York JFK.
