Alaska Airlines has announced the launch of a new nonstop service connecting Seattle and Seoul Incheon, set to commence on September 12, 2025. The route will be operated by Hawaiian Airlines using the Airbus A330-200 aircraft. This development is part of Alaska Airlines' broader strategy to transform Seattle into a key global gateway on the West Coast.

Andrew Harrison, Chief Commercial Officer at Alaska Airlines, stated, "With our robust network, we can connect our guests through our global gateway in Seattle for convenient nonstop service to Seoul and Tokyo, with additional connections to other Asian destinations with our global partners."

The airline aims to serve at least 12 international destinations from Seattle by 2030. In addition to Seoul Incheon, daily flights between Seattle and Tokyo Narita are scheduled to begin on May 12.

This new route will launch just before Chuseok, also known as Korean Thanksgiving Day. Travelers will have the opportunity to experience Hawaiian’s award-winning service during this festive period.

Harrison further commented on future plans: "As we grow our global network from Seattle in the coming years, we’ll announce new international routes to dynamic destinations that we know our guests are going to love to visit.”
