Delta Air Lines has introduced a new series of trading cards featuring Centennial colors and branding as part of its 100th-anniversary celebrations. The cards, which pilots distribute to passengers, showcase various aircraft in Delta's fleet.

"This collection honors Delta’s milestone as the first US airline to turn 100 with a fresh, eye-catching design – featuring the new Centennial colors and branding – that is sure to captivate customers and collectors alike," stated the airline.

A total of 5 million cards have been produced since March 25. They include images of aircraft such as the Airbus A220-300, A321neo, A330-900, A350-900, Boeing 717, 737-800, 757-200, and 767-300. Passengers on Delta Connection flights operated by Endeavor Air, SkyWest Airlines, or Republic Airways may also receive CRJ900 and Embraer E175 cards.

Ryan Gumm, Senior Vice President of Flight Operations at Delta Air Lines, noted that millions of trading cards have been distributed over the past two decades. "This simple yet impactful interaction between our pilots and customers elevates and enriches the flight experience – and has created meaningful connections and memorable moments along the way."

Starting in April, passengers can purchase a physical gift card on Delta's website for a commemorative gift set containing two limited Centennial livery trading cards. "This set is the only other way to access these two special edition cards besides requesting them from your pilot while traveling and supplies last," added Delta Air Lines.

The airline released its first trading cards in 2003 with the McDonnell Douglas MD-11. Since then, it has expanded to include 68 unique cards.

Delta marked its centennial on March 2. Originally incorporated as Huff Daland Dusters for mail transport in the US, it celebrated with a gala unveiling an A321neo in Centennial livery on March 15. "Delta's Centennial livery honors a century of innovation, resilience and the people who built Delta into the airline it is today."

Throughout this year-long celebration, Delta also launched 'Sky Hopper,' a retro-style game available via Delta Sync WiFi. CEO Ed Bastian delivered a keynote speech at CES 2025 in Las Vegas.

On March 26, Delta announced that its Flight Museum near Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport will reopen on April 7 after refurbishment.
