Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts is preparing to open its first property in Texas, marking a significant expansion for the luxury brand. The Waldorf Astoria Texas Hill Country, scheduled to open in 2027, will be located near Fredericksburg in the Texas Hill Country wine region. It will feature 60 hotel rooms and suites, along with 87 residences on over 100 acres.

Amy King, vice president of luxury and mixed-use development at Hilton, stated: "Waldorf Astoria Texas Hill Country's signing marks a monumental milestone for Hilton and is integral to both our growth in the state, which represents Hilton's largest hotel portfolio in the U.S., and Hilton luxury brands portfolio expansion across the Americas." She also noted Conrad Hilton's legacy began in Texas over 105 years ago.

The new property will offer five food-and-beverage options, including a pool bar and a specialty restaurant. Guests can enjoy amenities such as an extensive spa and fitness center with treatment rooms and sports courts. The hotel will have two resort-style pools and a kids club.
