Storied hotel group One&Only is set to open its first property in the United States this November. The new resort, named One&Only Moonlight Basin, will be located in Big Sky, Montana, and marks the brand's debut alpine resort as well as its inaugural U.S. location.

Scheduled to open on November 18, the resort will cover 240 acres and offer a range of activities such as skiing and ice fishing during winter months, and horseback riding and golf when the weather warms up. According to the property, nightly rates will begin at $1,950 before taxes.

Mark Kirby, president of One&Only, expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming opening: "Our first alpine resort seamlessly blends refined hospitality with the untamed beauty of nature, offering an unparalleled escape for adventurers and luxury seekers alike," he said. "We look forward to welcoming our first guests this November to this truly extraordinary destination."

The hotel will feature 73 guest rooms and suites within its main lodge along with 19 guest cabins. Room sizes vary from over 700 square feet to more than 3,400 square feet and include balconies with mountain views, fireplaces, oak-lined walls, and deep soaking tubs positioned in front of large windows.

Amenities at the property include a private alpine lake beach and a kids club offering both indoor and outdoor activities inspired by the surrounding area. Dining options are plentiful with six bars and restaurants available. Among them is a modern Japanese restaurant by chef Akira Back, who plans to open his namesake establishment next winter.

For those eager to experience One&Only before November, the company currently operates Sky Lodge—a ski lodge opened last December—which features The Landing restaurant and bar accessible via heated gondola or car. The Landing remains open until April 27 before reopening on June 5 for summer visitors.

One&Only operates several luxury hotels globally in locations such as Dubai, Cape Town, Mexico, Rwanda among others.
