This year, Earth Hour will take place on Saturday, March 22nd. The event is traditionally held on the last Saturday of March. Participants are encouraged to turn off their lights and electronics for 60 minutes starting at 8:30 pm local time, regardless of their time zone.

Earth Hour aims to highlight the positive impact that environmental conservation can have on the planet and to raise awareness about sustainability issues. Last year, Earth Hour saved 1.4 million hours of electricity across 187 countries, marking it as the largest Earth Hour event to date.
