Delta Air Lines is celebrating its 100th anniversary by unveiling a refreshed Delta Flight Museum, located at its headquarters in Atlanta. Officially opening on April 7, the museum features interactive exhibits that capture the airline's history and culture. Visitors can engage with the "Delta Connects You" experience, which showcases Delta's role in connecting diverse cultures and ideas.

Since its inception in 1995, the museum has welcomed aviation enthusiasts from around the world to learn about Delta's history and the future of flight. The revamped museum includes options for unique event rentals such as business meetings and weddings. "The Delta Flight Museum is widely known to our employees and the community as Delta’s true home," stated Kelley Moore, Executive Director of Delta Flight Museum.

The museum's renovation project, which took over a year, included the installation of new exhibits, the preservation of archival images, and the conservation of historical artifacts. The Delta Air Lines Foundation, along with donations from employees, retirees, and friends, funded the renovation efforts. Marie Force, Director of Archives, emphasized the importance of preserving Delta's rich history, saying, "Preserving and sharing Delta’s history is critical – not just to honor our past but to inspire the future of aviation professionals."

The museum aims to inspire future generations in aviation, offering exhibits that spotlight various careers in the industry. It hosts educational events throughout the year for school groups and young learners. The design and creation of the renovated space were assisted by Imagine Exhibitions, an Atlanta-based company known for creating world-class attractions.

The public can explore the renovated Delta Flight Museum starting April 7 within the hours of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Visitors are encouraged to check the website for potential closures due to events. The museum is located at 1060 Delta Blvd., Bldg. B, Dept. 914, Atlanta, GA 30354-1989.
