Boeing has announced the renewal of its Used Serviceable Materials (USM) agreement with Bell Flight at VERTICON2025. This move aims to enhance parts inventory and distribution efficiency for commercial helicopter operators. The announcement was made on X on March 12.

According to RotorHub International, Boeing and Bell Textron have extended their partnership, reaffirming Boeing as an authorized supplier of USM for Bell 212 and 412 helicopters. This collaboration is intended to improve parts inventory and distribution efficiency, providing commercial helicopter operators with reliable maintenance solutions. The renewed agreement underscores both companies' commitment to supporting the operational readiness of Bell helicopter fleets worldwide.

As reported by Bell Flight, the USM parts supplied under this agreement are available for outright purchase or through an exchange program, where customers receive a repaired or overhauled component in exchange for their used core. All parts are FAA-approved and processed through Bell’s Authorized Customer Service Facilities and Bell Authorized Maintenance Centers, ensuring adherence to stringent quality and safety standards. This arrangement offers operators flexible and cost-effective options for maintaining their aircraft.
