British Airways is set to operate 361 flights to various Caribbean destinations in April, providing 102,570 seats, according to data from Cirium, an aviation analytics company. The UK airline's top five busiest Caribbean routes for the month include London Heathrow to Bridgetown, Barbados with 10,220 seats, London Gatwick to St. Lucia with 8,324 seats, and London Gatwick to Antigua with 7,052 seats.

Additional routes from London Heathrow to Bermuda International and Nassau, Bahamas each account for 7,050 seats. These routes utilize British Airways' Boeing 777-300ER and 787-10 Dreamliner aircraft. The Boeing 777-300ER has seating capacity across four classes, equipped with Wi-Fi and in-flight entertainment powered by Panasonic's eX3 system, offering content gate to gate.

"This is the latest version of the British Airways 777-300ER with four classes of accommodation. All aircraft are equipped with Wifi. In-flight entertainment is powered by a Panasonic eX3 system that delivers content gate to gate, and with IFE boxes located in the seat pan, the footwells are free of obstruction. All seats have individual universal power and USB-A sockets," contributes AeroLOPA.

The route from London Gatwick to St. Lucia, operating 25 flights, is served using the Boeing 777-200ER, with an additional connection to St. Johns, Antigua available through 21 flights this April. The flights from London Heathrow to Bermuda and Nassau are operated using the Boeing 777-X fleet, sailing once daily.

British Airways' long-haul fleet to the Caribbean includes both technical and direct flights from London Gatwick to destinations like Punta Cana and Grenada. The Punta Cana route offers 13 flights providing 4,364 seats, alongside flights to other destinations. The airline's connection strategy sees several flights from Gatwick making technical stops, such as in St. Lucia, before heading to Grenada.

British Airways continues to expand its operations across the transatlantic, collaborating with partners such as Iberia and Qatar Airways to enhance its route network to the Caribbean.
