Emirates continues to establish itself as a global connector, facilitating travel to various distant destinations from its hub in Dubai, UAE. The airline operates numerous non-stop and one-stop long-haul routes, each exceeding 10,000 kilometers (6,213 miles) in distance.

Among Emirates' longest routes, the Dubai to Auckland Airport (AKL) journey stands out as the longest non-stop route, covering 14,178 km (8,809 mi) and serviced by an Airbus A380 on flight EK448. This flight is scheduled to last 945 minutes (15.75 hours), highlighting the airline's capacity for extended travel.

The second longest non-stop route is from Dubai to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), spanning 13,412 km (8,333 mi). The list of lengthy routes includes U.S. destinations such as George Bush Houston Intercontinental Airport (IAH), San Francisco International Airport (SFO), Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), Miami International Airport (MIA), and Orlando International Airport (MCO).

Emirates is known for a significant number of long flights, with 178 weekly non-stop departures covering distances over 10,000 km in June, with 96 heading to North American locations like Montréal–Trudeau International Airport (YUL) and Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ).

For one-stop routes, flight EK255 is notable, traveling from Dubai to Mexico City with a stop at Barcelona El Prat Airport (BCN), covering 14,320 km (8,898 mi). This route is the longest of Emirates' one-stop services and even surpasses its non-stop offerings. Other one-stop routes include destinations in the Americas such as Buenos Aires Ezeiza International Airport (EZE), Bogota El Dorado International Airport (BOG), Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), and New York John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK).

Despite the impressive lengths of Emirates' routes, Air China holds the title for the longest one-stop itinerary, traveling from Beijing to São Paulo through Madrid over a distance of 17,041 km (10,588 mi). Meanwhile, the longest non-stop flight is operated by Singapore Airlines from Singapore to New York JFK and Newark Liberty, covering 15,268 km (9,487 mi) and 15,263 km (9,483 mi) respectively.
