Atlas Air has announced that certified flight instructors from the Atlas Cadet Academy have commenced hands-on professional development at the Atlas Training Center. The announcement was made on X, formerly known as Twitter, on February 13.

According to Atlas Air’s official account, these certified flight instructors are participating in an immersive professional development session aimed at enhancing instructional capability through real-world application and practical exercises. The company emphasized the importance of these sessions in strengthening training consistency and pilot readiness across its global operations.

The Atlas Cadet Academy offers a structured pathway for aspiring aviators to become commercial pilots, including a fast-track opportunity to serve as certified flight instructors. According to the official academy site, cadets receive early exposure to Atlas Air's corporate culture, mentorship opportunities, and leadership development through both in-person and online components. Graduates of the program are positioned to meet required flight hours while contributing directly to the company’s training infrastructure.

The February session was led by First Officer Training Instructor Arjoon Lynch, who was recognized by Atlas Air for his leadership of the inaugural class. According to an Atlas Air social media post, Lynch played a key role in mentoring the CFIs during the program’s early implementation phase. His involvement reflects the airline's commitment to fostering internal talent and building instructional excellence from within.
