Allegiant Air has announced the appointment of Victor Cipolla as manager of Inflight Training Operations. The announcement was made on the social media platform X on March 25.

Allegiant Air, established in 1997, is an American ultra-low-cost airline based in Las Vegas, Nevada. The airline targets leisure travelers from small and medium-sized cities, providing nonstop, all-jet service to prominent destinations. According to Allegiant Air's official website, the company focuses on delivering affordable and convenient travel experiences.

As of 2025, Allegiant Air operates a fleet of 127 aircraft, including Airbus A319-100s and Airbus A320-200s. The airline serves 124 destinations across the United States with an emphasis on connecting underserved cities to leisure locations. According to Wikipedia, Allegiant Air's business model involves minimal inclusions in fares and a higher number of add-on fees.

In January 2022, Allegiant Air announced an order for 50 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, with options for an additional 50 planes. This strategic decision aims to modernize the airline's fleet and enhance fuel efficiency. Reuters reported that this deal represented a shift in Allegiant's strategy since the airline had previously concentrated on acquiring used aircraft.

Allegiant Air is publicly traded with over 5,600 employees and a market capitalization exceeding $2.6 billion as of 2016. The airline has been recognized for its distinctive business model that emphasizes ancillary revenues and offers bundled air and hotel packages.
