Air France is enhancing its business-class experience through a collaboration with Sofitel, a luxury hotel brand under the Accor Live Limitless portfolio. The partnership aims to introduce new mattress pads for the airline's lie-flat business-class seats. These pads will be available on Air France's long-haul flights starting this summer and are expected to improve passenger comfort.

Fabien Pelous, Air France's senior vice president of customer experience, stated, "The introduction of a new mattress pad will further enhance the comfort offered on board, ensuring even more restful nights before arrival at destination, as well as greater relaxation during daytime flights."

The Sofitel-designed bedding collection is intended to offer a "floating on a cloud" feel and covers the entire lie-flat seat. This feature will appear on all Air France wide-body aircraft, including Boeing 777s, 787 Dreamliners, Airbus A330s, and A350s, by the end of the year.

The gray-colored mattress covers align with the overall aesthetic of Air France's business cabin and will enhance comfort whether the seat is in the lie-flat or upright position.

Air France's new offering will be available by July on routes to Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport and other destinations. The airline's partnership with Sofitel is part of its efforts to enhance passenger experience in its premium cabins.
