Cathay Pacific has announced the resumption of its direct service between Hong Kong and Brussels, set to begin on August 3, 2025. The airline will offer four weekly departures from both cities. This announcement was made on the social media platform X on March 11.

According to Cathay Pacific's official website, the airline initially launched its Hong Kong to Brussels route in March 2018, providing a vital link between Asia and the European Union's administrative center. However, services were suspended in 2020 due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. The resumption of this route in August 2025 signifies Cathay Pacific's commitment to rebuilding its European network and enhancing connectivity for travelers.

As reported by Aviation A2Z, Cathay Pacific's flights to Brussels will operate four times weekly. Flights will depart Hong Kong on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays at 11:35 PM and arrive in Brussels at 7:05 AM the following day. Return flights are scheduled to leave Brussels on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 4:15 PM and arrive in Hong Kong at 9:45 AM the next day. These flights will utilize the Airbus A350-900 aircraft, featuring Business, Premium Economy, and Economy class cabins.

According to Travel and Leisure Asia, the reinsaid Brussels route is part of Cathay Pacific's broader European expansion strategy. This includes launching direct flights to Munich starting June 16, 2025. By summer 2025, the airline aims to operate up to 93 return flights per week to 11 European destinations, enhancing travel options for passengers between Hong Kong and Europe.

As detailed on Wikipedia, Cathay Pacific is the flag carrier of Hong Kong and was established in 1946. The airline operates an extensive network serving destinations across Asia, Europe, North America, and beyond. Renowned for its commitment to safety and service quality, Cathay Pacific has received numerous industry awards and is a founding member of the Oneworld alliance.
