Delta Air Lines has risen to the 15th position on the prestigious Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For list, marking its sixth consecutive year on the list. This year, Delta is the sole airline among the top 15 companies, alongside organizations like Hilton and American Express.

Delta's CEO, Ed Bastian, stated, “All Delta people should be incredibly proud of this recognition. For 100 years, our people have set us apart and been the foundation of what makes Delta a great workplace, and they will continue to propel us forward through our next century.”

Great Place To Work, known for its expertise in workplace culture, compiles the Best Companies list each year based on employee feedback and company culture assessment. It recognizes environments where employees feel valued and cared for.

Allison Ausband, Delta's EVP and Chief People Officer, emphasized the company's commitment to its employees, saying, “Honors like this show the importance of our pledge to everyone at Delta to invest in you from the day you’re hired until the day you retire. When our people feel valued and cared for, they can be fully present every day."

Delta has committed to initiatives such as career development and providing connection opportunities for employees. In contrast with many companies focusing solely on technological advances and cost efficiency, Delta's emphasis remains on fostering a culture of care.

Profit sharing remains a highlight, with Delta distributing $1.4 billion among its employees globally in February. In the GPTW survey, 80% of employees expressed satisfaction with their share of company profits, a notable figure compared to other top companies.

Michael Bush, CEO of Great Place To Work, praised Delta's focus on its workforce and growth, noting the airline's significant improvement from 94th to 15th place on the list. “In a tough year, somehow Delta kept climbing," Bush remarked.

This recognition is part of Delta's ongoing reputation for excellence in workplace culture, customer service, and operational performance. Notably, Delta has maintained a leading position in various rankings and received numerous awards over the years.

The GPTW Trust Index Survey, involving around 25,000 U.S.-based Delta employees, evaluates employee opinions about working at Delta, highlighting strengths and areas for development to enhance the employee experience.

This recognition from Fortune Media underlines Delta's commitment to its workforce and sets a strong example in the industry.
