The Haman Nakhwa Nori Festival occurs in May and features traditional fireworks, revived annually since 1985. It includes fire sticks known as nakhwabong, creating a spectacle that reflects on Mujinjeong pond like a "celestial Milky Way." The festival is free but requires reservations.

Haman offers a historical journey with the Ancient Tombs in Marisan Mountain, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, believed to be the resting place of Aragaya kings. Artifacts and reconstructions at the nearby museum provide insights into Gaya’s past.

Another attraction is the Mujinjeong Pavilion, a peaceful retreat that once served Joseon Dynasty scholars. It offers a serene environment for relaxation.

Local cuisine includes the much-appreciated Haman Watermelon, famous for its high sugar content and juicy quality. This region is noted for producing premium watermelons, being the origin of their cultivation in Korea.
