Embraer has reported delivering 30 aircraft in the first quarter of 2025, marking a 20% increase compared to the same period in the previous year. The deliveries included seven commercial aircraft and 23 private jets, as the company announced on April 2.

The delivery breakdown consisted of four E175 and three E195-E2 aircraft in the commercial segment, along with 23 private jets, comprising two Phenom 100, 12 Phenom 300, three Praetor 500, and six Praetor 600. Reflecting on the stability in commercial aviation, the company shared, “In comparison to the same period in 2024, Commercial Aviation volumes were stable in the quarter, with 7 aircraft delivered. Executive Aviation volumes were higher year over year: 23 jets were delivered in 1Q25 versus 18 in 1Q24 – an increase of 28%.”

Embraer’s delivery guidance for the year stands between 77 and 85 commercial aircraft. By the end of the first quarter, the company had delivered 9% of the lower range of this guidance.

American airlines expanded their Embraer fleets this quarter with Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, and United Airlines incorporating new E175 aircraft. Additionally, airlines like Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras, Binter Canarias, and Porter Airlines added E195-E2 aircraft. However, a discrepancy arose with the delivery data for Binter Canarias, highlighting that an E195-E2 delivered at the start of January might have been included in 2024's statistics.

Embraer’s endeavors also include a new partnership route, as announced in a memorandum of understanding with Turkish Aerospace Industries on April 1 to potentially collaborate on E2 aircraft production in Turkey. “Embraer is actively seeking new suppliers and partners around the world to meet the growing demand for Embraer’s products. Turkish Aerospace aims to leverage its strategic capabilities in manufacturing and assembling metallic and composite structures, final assembly of fuselages, components, test and production flights, and painting,” shared the company regarding this development. The President and CEO of Embraer, Francisco Gomes Neto, also added that Turkish Aerospace’s expertise aligns with Embraer's goals, highlighting the potential for innovative solutions and an expanded global footprint.

This adjustment in production strategy comes as Embraer focuses on expanding its market. The company delayed the development of the E175-E2 until 2027, awaiting changes in the US scope clause that affects regional jets’ marketability.
