Alaska Airlines has introduced enhancements to its Mileage Plan, aiming to provide more personalized rewards for its loyal members. The latest updates in the loyalty program now allow Mileage Plan members, starting from 10,000 elite-qualifying miles, to select perks tailored to their preferences, such as bonus miles, complimentary WiFi, and one-time lounge passes.

Alaska Airlines Visa Signature and Visa Business cardholders can benefit from new baggage allowances when booking flights with Hawaiian Airlines. They receive one free checked bag for themselves and up to six guests on the same reservation, provided the booking is made using their Alaska Airlines card. Similarly, primary cardholders of the Hawaiian Airlines World Elite Mastercard receive two free checked bags on Alaska Airlines flights when booked with their card.

Starting April 24, MVP Gold 75K and MVP Gold 100K members have the opportunity to select a complimentary Extra Comfort seat upon booking a Main Cabin fare with Hawaiian Airlines. This perk aims to enhance the travel experience for elite members, featuring additional legroom and priority boarding.

In a further enhancement, beginning mid-summer, Alaska Airlines Visa Signature and Visa Business cardholders will have the option to use their companion fare on Hawaiian Airlines flights within North America.

"We have been on a journey to build a stronger and more rewarding Mileage Plan program. These latest perks and enhancements come on the heels of our continued integration with Hawaiian Airlines," stated a representative from Alaska Airlines. The airline's plans include unveiling a single loyalty program with Hawaiian Airlines in the near future.

Further details on the expanded benefits are expected to be announced in the coming months, as Alaska Airlines continues to evolve its loyalty offerings in collaboration with Hawaiian Airlines.
