Michael O’Leary CEO of Ryanair Group | Ryanair Group

In April 2024, Michael O’Leary, the CEO of Ryanair Group, dismissed the possibility of introducing a loyalty program for the airline. He humorously suggested, "if passengers wanted loyalty, they should get a four-legged pet." This statement indicated the ultra-low-cost carrier's stance against joining other airlines that offer loyalty incentives to frequent flyers. As of now, there are no indications that Ryanair plans to alter its position regarding loyalty programs under O'Leary's leadership.
