Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) has announced a 25% discount on all mobile orders placed through its LAXOrderNow platform using the promo code LAXSPRING25. This offer is valid until April 15, as revealed in an announcement made on X on April 1.

According to Los Angeles World Airports, LAXOrderNow is a mobile ordering system that allows passengers to browse, order, and pay for food and beverages directly from their phones while at the airport. The platform is designed for convenience and safety, offering contactless ordering at various terminal restaurants. Users can access it by scanning QR codes throughout the airport or visiting www.laxordernow.com, without needing to download an app.

URW Airports, which manages commercial operations at LAX, reported that the LAXOrderNow service expanded in 2022 to include gate delivery. This feature enables travelers to receive food directly at their departure gate, aiming to enhance customer satisfaction by reducing disruptions and wait times during busy travel periods. URW said that since its introduction, gate delivery has been well-received by travelers seeking a seamless dining experience at the airport.

The Los Angeles Business Journal reported that LAX handled 94.4 million passengers in 2023, reflecting a 3.4% increase compared to 2022. Despite this growth in passenger traffic, LAX fell to the fifth busiest airport in the United States, surpassed by Denver International and Chicago O’Hare airports. The article emphasized that continued investment in passenger services, including digital tools like LAXOrderNow, is crucial for LAX to maintain its competitiveness in national airport rankings.

LAX remains one of the largest and busiest airports globally, offering nonstop flights to over 180 destinations worldwide. The airport is currently undergoing a $14.5 billion modernization initiative aimed at upgrading terminals, transportation infrastructure, and sustainability measures. This initiative forms part of LAX’s broader strategy to improve efficiency, safety, and overall traveler experience as demand continues to rise.
