British Airways has resumed its flights to Tel Aviv, with plans to increase the frequency of flights soon. The airline has incorporated Tel Aviv Ben Gurion International Airport into its short-haul network as it restarts flights to the city in April. British Airways stated, “This brings these flights in line with other similar-length flights we operate, and we’ll keep this decision under review.”

The resumption of service includes a change in aircraft type, and the flights will now be operated with two cabins: Club Europe and Euro Traveller. According to Flightradar24 records, flight BA404 from London Heathrow to Tel Aviv was operated by an Airbus A321neo on April 5. The UK flag carrier plans to launch a second daily flight to Tel Aviv on April 20.

British Airways had offered double-daily flights with larger airplanes like the Airbus A350-1000 or Boeing 787-9 before the war between Hamas and Israel in October 2023. Despite the ongoing conflict, airlines have not significantly reduced their capacity or planned services to Israel. They have increased the number of flights and available seats compared to previous months.

Despite past political declarations calling for peace, the conflict continues. This has not deterred airlines, including United Airlines and Delta Air Lines, from resuming their services to Tel Aviv.
