In today's increasingly connected world, staying online during travel is critical for many passengers, particularly on lengthy flights. Acknowledging this demand, various European airlines now offer WiFi on their transatlantic routes between Europe and North America.

Airlines approach WiFi offerings differently, with numerous carriers providing some level of complimentary access. Many airlines enable free use of messaging applications, facilitating communication with friends and family. For enhanced internet activities such as streaming videos, video conferencing, or web browsing, carriers offer WiFi upgrades.

Air France provides WiFi with three pass options. As revealed by Nerdwallet, Air France offers free and paid WiFi choices. The Message Pass is free, whereas the Surf Pass varies by flight duration, costing around $19.41 or 6,000 Flying Blue miles for long-haul flights. The Stream Pass is only offered on long flights for $32.35 or 10,000 Flying Blue miles. Additionally, passengers not requiring full-flight connectivity can access WiFi for one hour at $8.63 or 2,700 miles.
