United Airlines has expanded its presence in Asia with the launch of a new route connecting Guam and Taipei, inaugurated on April 2. The route, utilizing a 737-800 for twice-weekly flights, adds to United's portfolio of Asian destinations from Guam, which includes Manila, Nagoya, Osaka Kansai, Tokyo Haneda, and Tokyo Narita. United is currently the sole airline serving the Guam to Taiwanese capital route, following China Airlines' service cessation in February 2025.

Meanwhile, two airlines are now operating flights between Seoul Incheon and Prague. Asiana Airlines launched its first service on April 1, using A350-900s for the three weekly flights, joining Korean Air's four weekly 787 flights on the same route. Asiana's expansion into Europe brings daily service to Prague and marks a return to two carriers on this route, a situation not seen since 2020.

United Express has begun servicing a new route from Houston Intercontinental to Puerto Escondido, Mexico, starting April 5. This marks the first-ever US connection to Puerto Escondido. United now operates flights to 23 Mexican destinations, with a focus on using its Texas hub to facilitate numerous daily departures.
