Air France recently launched its new La Premiere first-class seats on a long-haul flight from Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport to New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport. The Points Guy (TPG) was invited onboard to experience the enhancements firsthand.

The new departure experience includes a dedicated check-in lounge at CDG offering personalized service and private escorts through security. The La Premiere lounge, conceived by architect Didier Lefort, features designer furnishings, a Sisley spa, and dining options curated by chef Alain Ducasse.

Travelers departing from Paris can rent one of three private suites, each with an outdoor patio and butler service, starting at approximately 800 euros. Passengers are transported to their flights in a chauffeured Porsche Cayenne hybrid.

Onboard, each Boeing 777-300ER is equipped with just four La Premiere suites, providing nearly 38 square feet of space. The suite includes an ergonomic armchair, a chaise lounge, and is equipped with dual 32-inch 4K screens, wireless touchscreen tablets, and enhanced connectivity options. The chaise converts into a lie-flat bed with bedding from Dumas Paris. Passengers receive Simon Porte Jacquemus pajamas and Sisley amenity kits to enhance comfort.

Culinary offerings include multicourse meals prepared by chef Alain Ducasse, along with premium wines and spirits.

As of now, these new La Premiere suites feature on select Boeing 777-300ERs between Paris and New York. They are expected to expand to routes between Paris and Los Angeles, Singapore, and Tokyo later this summer. However, award availability for these suites remains highly restricted, requiring Flying Blue Platinum elite status to redeem miles.
