Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta has undergone a comprehensive renovation costing millions, aimed at elevating the resort's appeal. These enhancements include significant changes to the North Tower's 244 guest rooms, introducing new decor inspired by the ocean, updated glass doors to balconies, smart TVs, Nespresso machines, and improved air-conditioning systems.

Guests now have a variety of dining options, featuring Blaze, a seaside grill, alongside Vietnamese and Thai cuisine, and Mexican and Italian restaurants. The introduction of Tamari, an Asian fusion restaurant, adds teppanyaki-style dining, and Melanzanne, an Italian restaurant, is set to open later this year. The resort continues to provide diverse bar options, with poolside, beachside drinks, and a rooftop cocktail bar.

For younger visitors, the kids' club has been redesigned with a jungle theme, catering to children from ages 4 to 12, while adults can enjoy the VitaMar Spa. The resort's event spaces also received a makeover, including a new terrace offering panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and surrounding tropical landscape.

Fernando Mulet, executive vice president and chief investment officer of Playa Hotels & Resorts, commented, "These updates not only enhance the guest experience but also reinforce our commitment to setting new standards in all-inclusive luxury through elevated accommodations and innovative experiences."

Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta is part of Hyatt's efforts to redefine all-inclusive resorts, alleviating previous negative stereotypes associated with such offerings. The company has also launched a new high-end all-inclusive brand called Impression by Secrets, enhancing the options for World of Hyatt members to earn and redeem points. Hyatt continues its presence in the Caribbean with properties like Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana and Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana in the Dominican Republic.

Rates at Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta begin around $430 per night for double occupancy, with award nights starting from 25,000 points per night according to Hyatt's all-inclusive resort award chart.
