The San Bernardino International Airport has announced that Breeze Airways' nonstop flights to San Francisco and Provo are being promoted as budget-friendly getaway options following tax season. The announcement was made on the social media platform X on April 9.

Breeze Airways has been expanding its services to connect underserved cities, offering affordable and convenient travel options. According to Time Magazine, the airline focuses on linking smaller cities directly, bypassing traditional hub airports. This approach provides travelers with more direct routes and shorter travel times, which is particularly beneficial for residents of areas like San Bernardino.

The airline began offering daily nonstop flights from San Bernardino International Airport (SBD) to San Francisco International Airport (SFO) on August 4, 2022. Additionally, it introduced nonstop service to Provo-Salt Lake City from San Bernardino on February 7, 2025, with one-way fares starting at $39. These services aim to provide affordable and efficient travel options for residents of the Inland Empire region.

In November 2024, Breeze Airways announced a Black Friday promotion, offering over 100 routes on sale with fares starting as low as $29 one-way. This sale included routes like Provo to San Francisco, underscoring the airline's commitment to providing budget-friendly travel options.

San Bernardino International Airport (SBD) is a public airport located approximately two miles southeast of downtown San Bernardino, California. The airport covers 1,329 acres and features a runway capable of accommodating large aircraft, including the Airbus A380 and Boeing 747. SBD offers a range of services, including commercial passenger flights, air cargo operations, and general aviation facilities.
