Condor, the leisure airline based in Germany, has unveiled new flight routes from Germany to Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), for the upcoming winter season. The new routes will commence in October and are aimed at enhancing connectivity for passengers through a partnership with Emirates to reach further destinations.

On April 10, Condor revealed plans to inaugurate daily flights from Stuttgart Airport (STR) and an additional daily service from Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) to Dubai International Airport (DXB) starting October 26. The airline aims to establish a leading position as a service provider between Germany and the Emirate of Dubai. "Not only is Dubai a very appealing destination on its own; together with our partner Emirates, guests can also connect beyond Dubai to destinations all over the world,” stated Peter Gerber, CEO of Condor.

Data from Cirium’s Diio Mi indicates that beginning in July, Condor will be the sole airline offering flights from Berlin to Dubai during the summer peak season. Meanwhile, Eurowings will resume its seasonal service from Berlin to Dubai in late October, but Condor will continue to be the only airline flying from Stuttgart to Dubai.

Additionally, the airline will expand its long-haul leisure network from Frankfurt Airport (FRA) during the winter. This expansion includes daily flights to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK), Phuket International Airport (HKT), and Cape Town International Airport (CPT), along with three flights per week to Johannesburg O.R. Tambo International Airport (JNB). Moreover, Condor will make its route to Panama City Tocumen International Airport (PTY) a year-round service starting June 11.

Condor has also announced an increase in city connections around Frankfurt to Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Vienna, and Zurich, moving from double to thrice-daily services. While Condor has not operated flights to these cities since early 2022, feeder services from Frankfurt were previously managed under special agreements with Lufthansa, which ended in 2024. This led to involvement from the European Commission regarding competition on flights between Frankfurt and New York.

Despite challenges, including a temporary European Commission order and a subsequent reversal concerning feeder traffic, Condor continues to refine its network and service offerings.
