Delta Air Lines operates several popular non-hub domestic routes from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), serving as vital connections for travelers across the United States. While the airline is prominently known for operating from its nine hubs, which include major cities like Atlanta, Boston, Detroit, Los Angeles, and others, its non-hub routes from Los Angeles also draw significant attention.

According to data from Cirium, Delta Air Lines maintains over 975 aircraft and services over 300 destinations globally. It is noted for its extensive domestic network. This month, Delta's key non-hub routes from LAX feature frequent flights to various U.S. cities.

Routes from LAX include San Francisco with 202 flights and San Jose and Sacramento, each having 174 flights this month. “Delta Air Lines has a fleet of over seventy Boeing 737-800s fitted out in a 16C 144M domestic configuration which includes 36 Comfort+ seats in Economy,” stated AeroLOPA. Flights to Las Vegas, Portland, Phoenix, Austin, and Orlando are operated multiple times daily, with Orlando having up to 112 flights.

“Delta Air Lines first Airbus A321neo entered commercial service in April 2022, fitted out in a 20C 174M domestic configuration which includes 42 Comfort+ seats in Economy,” AeroLOPA noted.

Another significant route includes daily flights to Honolulu, utilizing Delta's Boeing 767-300 fleet. These aircraft offer various seating configurations across multiple classes, including Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+, and Economy. “Each of the three daily flights in April has a scheduled block time of six hours and 10 minutes,” it was mentioned.

The airline’s regional partner, SkyWest Airlines, operates several flights from LAX to San Jose and Sacramento using its Embraer ERJ-175 aircraft. They also service routes such as Denver and Boise. The mainline fleet handles flights to locations like New Orleans and Kahului.

Delta continues to explore and expand upon its domestic routes, as illustrated by its increased use of widebody airplanes on domestic routes during the summer.
