Hainan Airlines has announced the official resumption of direct flights between Tel Aviv and Beijing, commencing on April 10. The announcement was shared in a post on social media platform X on April 11.

According to Hainan Airlines, the reinstatement of direct flights between Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion International Airport and Beijing Capital International Airport restores a crucial air link that had been suspended for 18 months due to global travel disruptions. This move is expected to enhance tourism, business, and cultural exchanges between China and Israel, demonstrating the airline's commitment to restoring international connectivity. The renewed service aligns with broader efforts to revitalize global air travel in the post-pandemic era.

Hainan Airlines, recognized as the only mainland Chinese carrier with a SKYTRAX five-star rating, will operate the Beijing-Tel Aviv route twice weekly, on Mondays and Thursdays. This schedule aims to provide passengers with increased flexibility and convenience for travel between the two capitals. The airline's dedication to high-quality service is reflected in its continued recognition from SKYTRAX for excellence in various aspects of the passenger experience.

According to International Travel News (ITN), the reintroduction of Hainan Airlines' Beijing-Tel Aviv route is anticipated to enhance travel options for both business and leisure travelers. The airline's decision to resume this route reflects a strategic response to growing demand for direct connectivity between China and Israel. This development is part of a broader trend of airlines reinstating routes that were previously suspended due to global events.

Hainan Airlines is a full-service Chinese carrier headquartered in Haikou, Hainan Province. Founded in 1993, it operates domestic and international routes across Asia, Europe, North America, and the Middle East. It remains the only mainland Chinese airline consistently receiving a five-star rating from SKYTRAX, recognizing its commitment to premium service and customer satisfaction.
