The Fairmont Golden Prague has officially opened on Parizska Boulevard along the Vltava River, revealing a blend of original architectural features and modern luxury. The 320-room hotel includes a collection of brutalist and artistic elements preserved from the 1970s, such as chandeliers by Rene Roubicek and ceiling sculptures by Cestmir Kafka.
Omer Acar, the Chief Executive Officer of Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, emphasized the importance of this new development for the company. "The opening of Fairmont Golden Prague is a significant milestone for Fairmont as we continue to grow our presence in Europe," Acar stated. "Prague is a city with an incredible story to tell, and we are honored to play a part in preserving its great heritage."
The hotel offers panoramic views, particularly from its flagship restaurant Zlata Praha, and features six bars and restaurants, including the Greenhouse, which highlights Czech beer culture. It also provides a significant spa area with a unique indoor-outdoor pool and various amenities.
