The spacious interior is designed to provide a getaway above the clouds, featuring a clean air system that circulates fresh air every few minutes. The jet accommodates up to 19 passengers, with sleeping arrangements for up to 10.

Ballmer's extensive travels are partly due to his engagement in business activities after retiring from Microsoft, including his ownership of the Los Angeles Clippers of the NBA. The luxurious G650ER supports these activities with an environment conducive for business meetings.

Many major domestic airports have seen Ballmer’s jet recently, such as Los Angeles International, King County International, and others. International trips have taken the aircraft to destinations including North Eleuthera Airport in the Bahamas and Paris-Le Bourget in France.
