Between April and December, the aviation industry sees over 110 scheduled routes operated by the Airbus A380 globally. Among these, the ten longest flights are linked to three key carriers: Emirates, Qantas, and Qatar Airways. The route from Sydney-Singapore-London Heathrow claims the top spot overall; however, Dubai-Auckland stands out as the longest nonstop operation. Interestingly, April also featured the shortest A380 flight globally.

The first delivery of the Airbus A380, a widebody aircraft manufactured by Airbus, was in October 2007 to launch customer Singapore Airlines. Currently, airlines such as All Nippon, Asiana, British Airways, Emirates, Etihad Airways, Korean Air, Lufthansa, Qantas, Qatar Airways, and Singapore Airlines continue to operate this double-decker aircraft. Global Airlines is expected to initiate operations in May, proposing a round-trip charter service from Glasgow and Manchester to New York JFK. Nonetheless, it should be noted that Global Airlines does not hold an airline license and functions under a travel agency charter arrangement with Hi Fly Malta.

Qantas, having previously flown the A380 to Dallas between 2014 and 2020, will reestablish this route in August. It will depart New South Wales at 12:10 and reach Dallas at 12:30 local time, returning at 22:40.

The table includes routes such as Sydney-Singapore-London Heathrow flown by Qantas with fifth-freedom rights and Dubai-Auckland, known for its nonstop Emirates service. Other significant routes include Dubai-Sydney-Christchurch and Dubai-Los Angeles, both serviced by Emirates.

Qatar Airways features just once on the list with its Doha-Sydney route. The airline has used the A380 for this route intermittently since 2016. In 2025, alongside Sydney, Perth will also receive A380 flights from Qatar Airways solely between April and June. Meanwhile, Virgin Australia will lease 777-300ERs from Qatar Airways to initiate four routes from Australia to Doha beginning in June.

Related discussions include the changes in Emirates' Airbus A380s servicing various destinations. Etihad's new service from Abu Dhabi to Toronto will debut on June 24, replacing the smaller A350-1000. This change marks the first instance of two A380 operators at Toronto with both aircraft present simultaneously.

It is significant to observe how Etihad's move also indicates an expansion of A380 presence in the Canadian market alongside Emirates.
