Chase has announced the launch of its new Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables program, which provides exclusive dining access for its Sapphire Reserve cardholders. In collaboration with The Infatuation, acquired by Chase in 2021, the program offers reservations at select restaurants nationwide through the OpenTable platform.

Participating restaurants include notable names like Estela in New York City, High Street in Philadelphia, Dunsmoor in Los Angeles, Burdell in San Francisco, and EntreNos in Miami. According to Chase, the program currently covers over 25 U.S. cities, with plans to expand to more locations in the coming months.

Chris Stang, co-founder of The Infatuation and head of lifestyle at Chase, stated, "The customers that we interact with, that we hear from every day, say dining is a really important part of their set of experiences that they're looking to have in life."

"One plus one equals more than two," Stang remarked, reflecting on the partnership with The Infatuation. "The Infatuation had a really important role in helping us curate from a list of restaurants within OpenTable, which we said, 'We think these are the ones that can be difficult to get into, but more importantly that our customers care about or we're certain that they'll want to try.'"

Though similar programs are already offered by competitors like American Express and Capital One, Chase believes their program will successfully attract cardholders looking for unique dining experiences. Stang commented on Chase's ambitions in dining and lounges, saying, "Some of the most successful businesses and ventures in the world aren't necessarily the first ones."

The Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables program is part of a broader strategy by Chase to enhance its credit card benefits, competing with other major issuers in providing premium experiences for their cardholders.
