Federal Express Corporation (FedEx) continues its partnership with Mori Notes to turn old courier uniforms into gifts for clients, an initiative in its fifth year. This project aims at reducing waste through creative upcycling, demonstrating FedEx's commitment to sustainability.

A total of 300 old shirts have been turned into 200 gadget pouches and 200 neck pillows as part of promoting a circular economy. FedEx displays its dedication to environmental responsibility by offering customers these sustainable gifts.

The initiative with Mori Notes, a non-government organization in the Philippines known for innovative upcycling, aligns with FedEx's goal to responsibly connect the world. "At FedEx, we are committed to advancing sustainability across our operations and creating opportunities within the communities we serve," said Maribeth Espinosa, the managing director of FedEx Philippines.

FedEx's sustainable projects in the Philippines began in 2020. The company has since converted 300 old pants and 50 shirts into 600 journals and 100 pouches. They also donate wooden pallets and plastic waste to organizations that repurpose them, mitigating pollution and landfill use.

The logistics firm remains focused on developing digital tools to cut down on paper and energy usage while boosting efficiency. Initiatives include the FedEx Ship Manager (FSM) and various online shipping and declaration tools. Recently, they launched FedEx Sustainability Insights, a tool for customers to access carbon emissions data related to their shipments.
