Cathay Pacific has received recognition at the Crystal Cabin Awards 2025, winning in two categories for its innovative designs in aircraft interiors. The airline triumphed in the Passenger Comfort category with its Aria Suite Business class, and also in the Judges' Choice: Airline Innovation category for its Gallery in the Skies art concept. The awards ceremony took place in Hamburg on April 8, 2025.

Guillaume Vivet, General Manager of Customer Experience Design at Cathay Pacific, expressed pride in the awards: “Being recognised with these prestigious awards is an incredible honour, and a reflection of our deep commitment to delivering a world-class customer experience through thoughtful, human-centric design. To be recognised with two awards in the same year for features as diverse as our IFE and control system and Gallery in the Skies in our Aria Suite cabins is a testament to the innovation and the holistic approach to design that guides everything we do for our customers. These accolades are the result of incredible teamwork by our people at Cathay Pacific and with our partners.”

Launched on Boeing 777-300ER aircraft in October 2024, the Aria Suite allows passengers to control the suite environment through connected control panels and features a unique IFE interface by Reaktor. The suite also includes customizable Activity Modes with adjustable lighting and seating positions.

Cathay Pacific's Gallery in the Skies transforms Boeing 777-300ER cabins into art spaces with curated artwork. The pieces were created by artists with a connection to Hong Kong, reflecting the city's culture and landscape. This initiative was guided by Dr. Henrietta Tsui-Leung from the HK Art Gallery Association and Alan Lo from the Yenn and Alan Lo Foundation.

The airline was also recently honored with two iF Design Awards and received accolades from the German Design Award and the Red Dot Award for its design and user interface.
