Hainan Airlines has announced the introduction of exclusive discount vouchers for international transfer passengers at Haikou Meilan International Airport. The announcement was made in a post on X.

According to Hainan Airlines’ official account on X, the initiative is designed to enhance the airport experience for connecting passengers by offering vouchers that can be redeemed at the T1 and T2 enquiry counters. This move is part of the airline’s strategy to promote Haikou as a transfer-friendly hub for international travelers.

A public announcement from Hainan Airlines on Facebook detailed that the voucher program, launched on April 15, 2025, includes accommodation vouchers for layovers ranging from 4 to 72 hours and RMB 40 dining vouchers for layovers of up to 4 hours. These vouchers can be used as cash at participating airport merchants, with multiple vouchers allowed per transaction. The policy aims to provide financial relief and convenience to passengers during extended transit periods.
