Adnan Kazim Deputy President & Chief Commercial Officer | Emirates Airline

Starting in the 2026/2027 season, Emirates will join forces with Hapag-Lloyd Cruises to develop and market luxury air-sea travel packages. This collaboration will target premium customer segments and upscale trade partners. The initiative aims to align global cruise itineraries with Emirates' route network, providing passengers with various options to reach their cruise destinations.

Emirates and Hapag-Lloyd Cruises will cooperate on establishing dedicated fares and capacities. The partnership will also involve sharing relevant data and insights to enhance service excellence. Both entities will explore opportunities to integrate luxury services at jointly served destinations.

Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership. “We’re eager to start our partnership with Hapag-Lloyd Cruises and are confident that we have the right approach in place to deliver a premium, consistent and seamless sea-air journey for our cruise customers,” he stated.

Corinna Fritsch, Director of Flight & Ground Operation Services at Hapag-Lloyd Cruises, echoed this sentiment. “We are truly delighted about the upcoming, even closer collaboration with Emirates,” she said, highlighting the shared commitment to luxury and unique travel experiences.

The collaboration will focus on special packages for cruise ships MV EUROPA 2, HANSEATIC inspiration, and HANSEATIC spirit. MV EUROPA 2 is known for its relaxed luxury, while the expedition ships cater to smaller groups and remote destinations.

Hapag-Lloyd Cruises leads the market in luxury and expedition cruising in German-speaking regions. The fleet consists of five ships that have received high ratings for their class and service. The partnership with Emirates will enhance the travel options for their well-traveled and discerning guests.
