Inspired by themes in psychology and sociology, John Wayne Airport and Cypress College have partnered to present "The Collective Self" exhibition. This art display explores the complexities of identity through various artistic mediums, including drawing, photography, and illustration. The exhibition aims to reflect shared humanity and individual stories, encouraging visitors to consider their roles within societal contexts.

The exhibition also draws attention to Cypress College's visual arts programs, which offer multiple Associate in Arts degrees and pathways to further education in the California State University and University of California systems, as well as private art schools. These programs cover a wide range of fields including painting, graphic design, and entertainment art.

On May 16, 2025, the exhibition will be complemented by a performance at John Wayne Airport, showcasing the talents from Cypress College's Performing Arts Department. The exhibition will be displayed until August 11, 2025, and is located in Terminals A and B baggage claim areas on the Arrivals level of the airport.
