Air France has announced a partnership with Canal+ to expand the selection of French media programs available on its inflight entertainment systems for long-haul flights. The announcement was shared in a post on X.

According to Canal+ Group, Air France will begin offering a curated selection of Canal+ programs on all its long-haul flights starting May 1, 2025. This collaboration aims to enhance the onboard entertainment experience by providing passengers with access to a variety of French media content, including films, series, and documentaries. The partnership underscores Air France's commitment to promoting French culture and media globally.

As reported by Business Traveller, the new entertainment offering will feature a range of Canal+ Creation Originale series, comedy shows, and documentaries. Passengers can look forward to titles such as "The Embers," "Of Money and Blood," and "Versailles," providing a diverse selection of content for various interests. This initiative is part of Air France's strategy to continuously update and diversify its inflight entertainment options.

InsideFlyer notes that Air France's long-haul aircraft are equipped with over 38,000 inflight entertainment screens, offering more than 1,500 hours of content. The addition of Canal+ programming will further enrich this extensive library, ensuring passengers have access to high-quality entertainment throughout their journey. The airline plans to refresh the content monthly, adding approximately 20 new programs to keep the selection current and engaging.
