According to Emirates’ official media center, the airline will expand its refreshed fleet of Boeing 777 and Airbus A380 aircraft to serve eight more international cities over the coming months. Emirates confirmed that retrofitted Airbus A380s will be introduced to routes serving Bangkok, Hong Kong, Nice, and Perth, while upgraded Boeing 777s will operate flights to Madrid, Kuala Lumpur, Phuket, and Frankfurt. Emirates has invested more than $2 billion into a massive fleet retrofit project, according to Emirates' corporate media releases. The retrofit includes installing the Premium Economy product on 120 aircraft—67 Airbus A380s and 53 Boeing 777s—while also completely refreshing First, Business, and Economy Class cabins with new color palettes and materials. Emirates confirmed that the entire project is progressing according to schedule, aiming for full completion by mid-2025.

Founded in 1985, Emirates is headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), and operates more than 3,600 flights per week to over 150 destinations across six continents. According to Emirates' official corporate information, it is part of The Emirates Group and is recognized globally for its luxurious service standards, including award-winning inflight entertainment and premium cabin offerings. The airline maintains one of the youngest and most fuel-efficient widebody fleets in the world, consisting primarily of Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 aircraft.
