Ethiopian Airlines has announced an exclusive discount on flights ET 801 and ET 800 to Zanzibar for travel in May 2025. The offer was shared in a post on the social media platform X.

According to Ethiopian Airlines, the sales period for these discounted flights began on April 21 and will continue through May 15, 2025. This provides travelers with an extended window to book reduced-rate fares. The promotional window aligns with the Zanzibar Tourism and Investment Expo 2025, scheduled for May 30-31. The expo aims to showcase the island's tourism potential and attract international visitors, with expectations of drawing over 1,000 participants, including investors and industry professionals.

Eligible travel dates under this promotion are from May 1 to May 31, 2025. This offers flexibility across the entire month for those planning a trip to Zanzibar. This period coincides with the tail end of Zanzibar's long rainy season, which typically spans from mid-March to May. While this may impact travel plans, conditions often improve as May progresses, with shorter and lighter afternoon showers and more consecutive sunny days.
