FedEx, the world's largest express transportation company, has announced the opening of a new station in Brest. This strategic move aims to strengthen its position in the region by offering a location close to the city center. The new facility, which involved an investment of over 700,000 euros, aims to improve speed and efficiency for collection and delivery operations across northern Brittany.

The facility includes features designed to enhance service quality for clients and improve the work environment for employees. It is equipped with a state-of-the-art automated sorting system that enables more efficient parcel processing and scanning, thereby reducing operation times. The building has a more efficient sorting area of over 1,500 square meters, along with offices, a customer reception area, a break room, locker rooms, and a control room.

Located strategically near industrial areas and local SMEs, the site will accommodate 29 daily collection and delivery routes, with even earlier departures. This modernization is viewed as a sustainable solution to support the future growth of FedEx's activities in the region.

This project strengthens our operational efficiency in Brittany, improves working conditions for our teams, and offers a better experience for our customers, whether they wish to grow in the national or international market.”
