LAX Airport is celebrating Cinco de Mayo by offering a 20% discount on mobile orders through its LAXOrderNow platform, making it easier for travelers to skip the lines and enjoy a smoother airport experience.

According to URW Airports, LAX is enhancing the Cinco de Mayo experience for travelers by offering this discount. The initiative aims to streamline the dining process, allowing passengers to skip lines and enjoy a more efficient airport experience. This promotion is part of LAX's broader efforts to integrate cultural celebrations into its services, adding value to travelers during festive periods.

As reported by Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA), the LAXOrderNow platform enables passengers to order food and beverages from various airport restaurants using their mobile devices. The service accepts multiple payment methods, including credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay, facilitating a contactless and convenient transaction process. Orders can be picked up at designated areas, ensuring a seamless experience for travelers.

The LAXOrderNow platform has expanded to include a delivery service, allowing passengers to have their orders brought directly to their gate areas. This service is a collaboration between LAWA, URW Airports, Servy, and AtYourGate, aiming to further enhance the convenience and efficiency of dining options at LAX. The delivery feature integrates seamlessly with the existing mobile ordering system, offering travelers additional flexibility.

According to the Airports Council International, Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) handled 75,050,875 passengers in 2023, ranking it as the world's eighth-busiest airport. In 2024, LAX served 76,587,980 passengers, reflecting a 2.04% increase from the previous year. The airport serves as a major hub for both domestic and international travel, playing a critical role in global aviation.
