Alaska Airlines has announced a limited-time fare sale, offering one-way flights starting at $49 or 4,000 miles across its network.

According to Alaska Airlines’ official website, the carrier is providing discounted one-way fares for select routes. The promotion remains valid through May 1, 2025, at 11:59 PM Pacific Time and applies to travel between May 7 and June 12, 2025. Travelers must book through the airline’s website or app to access these fares, which are subject to restrictions and limited seat availability.

As reported by The Points Guy, the fare sale includes popular routes such as Seattle to San Diego, Los Angeles to Portland, and San Jose to Palm Springs. The promotion covers both standard cash bookings and redemptions using Mileage Plan miles, starting at 4,000 miles plus taxes and fees. This initiative is part of Alaska's strategy to enhance spring travel bookings during off-peak periods while rewarding loyal customers with flexible redemption options.

According to Travel + Leisure, this sale is among several seasonal promotions aimed at stimulating travel demand ahead of the summer rush. The airline targets leisure travelers with discounted fares on domestic and limited international routes, with many deals under $100 one-way. These sales help fill flights during shoulder seasons and allow travelers to plan affordable last-minute getaways.

Alaska Airlines’ official corporate information page states that the airline is headquartered in Seattle, Washington. It operates over 1,200 daily flights to more than 115 destinations across the United States, Canada, Mexico, Belize, and Costa Rica. As a member of the oneworld alliance with a fleet of Boeing 737s and Embraer 175s, Alaska Airlines is known for its customer loyalty program Mileage Plan and consistently strong on-time performance. The airline continues focusing on network growth and digital innovation.
