The 72nd Annual General Meeting of Deutsche Lufthansa AG commenced punctually at 10:00 a.m. today, with up to 35,000 shareholders registered for the event. The meeting was held virtually, allowing shareholders to engage through live video contributions and pose questions regarding the agenda.

A total of nine items were scheduled for discussion. Among these, the appropriation of balance sheet profits stood out. A dividend proposal of EUR 0.30 per share was put forward, representing a payout ratio of 26 percent of Group net profits and a dividend yield of approximately five percent based on the current Lufthansa share price. This move aims to allow shareholders to benefit from the company's success once more.

Additional agenda items included approving changes to the executive board compensation system, electing members to the supervisory board, and amending the articles of association to facilitate virtual general meetings.
