Emirates has opened its Bangkok World Store, marking the airline's second major investment in Thailand in recent months. The inauguration ceremony was led by Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer. The event was attended by UAE Ambassador to Thailand Obaid bin Taresh Al Dhaheri, Thailand's Minister of Tourism and Sports Sorawong Thienthong, along with senior management from Emirates, trade representatives, and media guests.

This new store follows the THB 175 million (USD 5 million) expansion of Emirates' Suvarnabhumi Airport Lounge earlier this year. It also coincides with a strategic partnership between Emirates and the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) aimed at increasing inbound tourism from Emirates’ global network to Thailand. Both organizations plan to collaborate on marketing initiatives to promote Thailand as a top destination.

Adnan Kazim commented on the opening: “The Emirates World Store in Bangkok is another step forward in our journey to get even closer to our customers in Thailand. Bangkok remains one of our strongest gateways in Southeast Asia, and this new concept store offers an elevated and personalised retail experience that brings the spirit of Emirates into the heart of the city."

The store is located at Gaysorn Centre within Bangkok’s commercial district. It features amenities such as the Emirates A380 Onboard Lounge and showcases their Premium Economy product set for flights EK372/373 between Dubai and Bangkok starting July.

Covering 254 square meters, the open-plan design mirrors Emirates' onboard aesthetic. Expert consultants are available for flight bookings and travel inquiries. Interactive kiosks allow visitors to explore destinations while digital displays provide information about availability.
