Federal Express Corporation, a global express transportation leader, marks its 40th anniversary in Indonesia by reaffirming its commitment to supporting Indonesian businesses connected to over 220 countries and territories. FedEx aims to empower local enterprises through its extensive network and logistical expertise.

"For four decades, FedEx has had the privilege of serving the Indonesian market, enabling businesses to connect with opportunities worldwide," stated Garrick Thompson, Managing Director of FedEx Indonesia. "Our commitment remains stronger than ever—to empower local businesses with world-class logistics solutions that drive growth, expand their global footprint, and contribute to Indonesia’s economic progress."

FedEx continues to enhance its service infrastructure in Indonesia by improving import shipping services to Jakarta, reducing transit times for shipments from Asia, Europe, and the United States by one day. This improvement benefits Indonesian businesses by allowing faster receipt of goods and greater agility in meeting customer demands.

Additionally, FedEx launched the Denpasar gateway facility to boost export capabilities for Bali-based businesses. This expansion facilitates seamless international market connections and unlocks new growth opportunities.

Through strategic investments and service upgrades, FedEx reinforces operational excellence in Indonesia. The company optimizes supply chains and streamlines logistics to help businesses remain competitive globally.

FedEx is committed to developing customized logistics solutions for customers like Balizen, an Indonesian eco-brand using sustainable shipping solutions for markets such as the U.S., Korea, Japan, Singapore, and Australia. Tools like FedEx International Connect Plus (FICP) offer guaranteed one-day delivery for e-commerce shipments.

In celebration of its 40th anniversary, FedEx launched initiatives under its CSR program, FedEx Cares. Activities include educational events for street children and tree-planting efforts with Trees4Trees.
