Brooke Vatheuer has been promoted to senior vice president of safety and audit programs for Alaska Air Group and Alaska Airlines. Additionally, Allie Wittenberger has been elected vice president of audit programs for Alaska Airlines. These leadership changes are part of a strategic move by the Alaska Air Group board of directors to strengthen oversight roles within the company.

The appointments aim to enhance safety and internal audit functions at Alaska Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, Horizon Air, and McGee Air Services. This reorganization supports the company's focus on safety as its top priority and aligns with the continued international growth of both Alaska and Hawaiian airlines.

The new leadership structure includes Brooke Vatheuer overseeing safety and aviation security programs across multiple airlines within the group. She will also manage the internal audit function that evaluates business processes. The teams under her leadership will remain accountable to committees of the Board of Directors.
