EVA Air has announced the launch of nonstop service between Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and Taipei, Taiwan, starting October 3, 2025.

According to an official press release from EVA Air, the airline will commence nonstop service from Taipei Taoyuan International Airport (TPE) to DFW on October 3, 2025. The new route will operate three times weekly—on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays—using Boeing 777-300ER aircraft configured with Royal Laurel (business), premium economy, and economy cabins. EVA Air confirmed this will be its ninth North American gateway, further expanding its transpacific network and enhancing access between Asia and the U.S. South.

As detailed by Focus Taiwan, EVA Air’s BR50 will depart Taipei at 7:10 p.m. and arrive in Dallas at 7:40 p.m. on the same day, offering travelers a same-day arrival across the Pacific. The return flight, BR49, will leave Dallas at 10:50 p.m. and land in Taipei at 4:05 a.m. two days later, providing early morning connectivity to other Asian destinations. The schedule was designed to accommodate both business and leisure travelers seeking seamless long-haul transit options.

According to Travel + Leisure, the addition of Dallas as a destination makes EVA Air the only Asian carrier to serve two cities in Texas—Dallas and Houston. The airline cited rising demand from the Dallas metropolitan area, which has seen significant growth in both population and international business activity. EVA Air President Clay Sun emphasized that the route will strengthen economic and cultural exchanges between Taiwan and the southern United States.

As outlined by Wikipedia, EVA Air is a Taiwanese international airline founded in 1989 and headquartered in Taoyuan City. It operates both passenger and dedicated cargo services to over 40 international destinations across Asia, Europe, North America, and Australia. The airline is a member of the Star Alliance and has received global recognition for its safety standards and premium service offerings, particularly in business and premium economy cabins.
