United Airlines and The Cookie Department have strengthened their collaboration, focusing on the success of onboard cookie sales. This partnership now includes the introduction of Buy A Bar, Give A Bar bars on United flights. These bars are part of The Cookie Department's initiative to provide food to banks nationwide.

On May 19, The Cookie Department announced its enhanced partnership with United Airlines. "The collaboration highlights United Airlines’ commitment to enhancing passenger experiences while supporting impactful initiatives," stated the company. Andy Sheldon, CEO of The Cookie Department, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership: “We are dedicated to creating exceptional products like Buy a Bar, Give a Bar, which aligns perfectly with United Airlines’ mission to provide the finest passenger experience.”

The 'Buy a Bar, Give a Bar' brand offers four flavors: Comforting Apple Cinnamon, Wholesome Oatmeal Chocolate Chip, Zesty Blueberry Pomegranate, and Off-the-Vine Strawberry. For each bar sold onboard, another is donated to support food equity and combat food insecurity. Purchases are matched by donations to the Bar Bank in collaboration with Farmlink and Feeding America Member food banks.
